14-year-old Justin stabbed to death at Glasgow station: boy (16) busted

A 14-year-old boy was stabbed at a Glasgow railway station in broad daylight and left for dead. Scottish police have arrested a 16-year-old teenager as a murder suspect and speaks of a โ€œshocking act of violence.โ€

The young victim, school student Justin McLaughlin, was found badly injured at High Street Station in Scotland‘s largest city on Saturday afternoon, British media reports. Rail traffic was immediately shut down and the station was cleared.

The teenager was taken to the hospital, but it was too late. The cause of the stabbing is not clear yet. Police have detained a 16-year-old boy for murder. People who were on a passing train have seen Justin lying down. โ€œThere was a boy on the platform. There was a lot of blood on his pants,โ€ a witness says on social media. Police hope more witnesses will report.

โ€œOur thoughts go out to Justin’s family and friends. This is a shocking loss of life,โ€ says investigative inspector Brian Geddes to The Daily Mail. Flowers were placed at the station. There will be additional sur-auction in public transport in the coming time, police announce.
