Captain Jack Grealish of the English football club Aston Villa is not allowed to sit behind the wheel of a car for nine months. The English international has to hand in his drivers license after a number of traffic violations.
In March, Grealish ran his Range Rover into two parked cars near Birmingham. Two months ago, the footballer was caught by cops racing at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour on the highway, while also sticking bumper.
A witness to the collision in March told me that Grealish smelled of alcohol and sounded gibberish. It was a reason for the judge to impose a nine months deprivation on Aston Villa. He also has to pay a fine of £82,900, converted over 91,000 euros. Grealish has to get his drivers license again when his sentence is over.
The Englishman made his debut in the national team earlier this year. Grealish competed in ten league matches in the Premier League this season for five goals and five assists.
