A lot of support from prominent figures for Tiger Woods after accident: ‘My stomach turned up’

Topgolfer Justin Thomas and numerous prominent figures live with Tiger Woods. The American wave legend was hospitalized on Tuesday after a one-sided accident with his car. The injuries would not be life-threatening, reported several sources in the United States.

โ€œ My stomach turns around. It hurts terribly that one of my best friends had an accident,โ€ said Thomas in Bradenton, preparing for the WGC Workday Championship.

โ€œ I hope he‘s all right. I’m mostly worried about his kids. I‘m sure they feel terrible,โ€ Thomas said. Woods (45) was in the coastal town of Ranchos Palos Verdes, California. He had to be removed from his vehicle by firefighters, after which he was taken to the hospital. According to his agent, Woods has sustained multiple injuries to his legs, among other things. He was supposed to be undergoing surgery right now.

Former top golfer Jack Nicklaus said that he and his wife Barbara are โ€œtremendously worriedโ€ about Woods. โ€œWe support him from the bottom of our hearts and pray for him. Join us to wish him a successful operation and a successful recovery,โ€ said Nicklaus, record holder with eighteen victories over majors.

The PGA Tour, the organization behind the major golf tournaments, is awaiting more information. โ€œOn behalf of the PGA and our players, all we can say is that we pray for Tiger and that he will have all our support in his recovery.โ€

Former president and golf fanate Donald Trump wished Woods strength: โ€œGet better soon, Tiger. You’re a true champion.โ€
