A setback for Liverpool: Luis Diaz has been injured and misses the upcoming games. The winger from Colombia will only be available again after the World Cup, according to English media. This is a knee injury for Diaz.
Diaz‘s recovery is estimated at six to eight weeks. That became clear after he went under the scan on Monday. Surgery is not necessary. Given Diaz’s current form, that‘s a big blow to Liverpool, that it will have to do without him in the upcoming Premier League and Champions League games.
25-year-old Diaz played in all of Liverpool’s Premier League games this season. He even scored three times. He is still in custody at Anfield until the summer of 2027.
