ADO narrowly wins over Eindhoven

ADO The Hague and FC Eindhoven can both still dream of an Eredivisie adventure. The Residency Club seemed to provide itself with an excellent starting position at home, but the Brabanders fought back: 2-1.
The start at the Cars Jeans Stadium was for the visitors. Charles-Andreas Brym might have put Eindhoven ahead, but he did it face to face with goalkeeper Alessandro Damen. On the other hand, Dhoraso Klas turned out to be a lot colder blooded. At the time Eindhoven stood with ten men due to an injury of Matthias Verreth, he shot a hit after putting Thomas Verheydt back well.
With this, the striker immediately proved his worth, after remaining aside against NAC Breda as a precaution. In fact, he made it 2-0 after 26 minutes by making a brilliant hit from the inside of the post. ADO was in control of this, but fifteen minutes before time, Hervรฉ Matthys gave his old employer the chance to return. Due to an awkward foul on Justin Ogenia, the ball went on the dot. Joey Sleegers took advantage of the penalty.
Suddenly Eindhoven saw its opportunity, partly because the doubt struck at ADO for a moment. Sleegers managed to pass the strong keeping Damen once again, but the walked Jamal Amofa brought rescue on the goal line. The equalizer stayed out in the exciting final phase, but the battle is still completely open. The return in Eindhoven is Saturday. The winner qualifies for the final of the post-competition.
