Good news for Yvon Mvogo: the goalkeeper of PSV is reporting to the European Championships with the national team of Switzerland. Mvogo is one of 26 selected players.
Federal coach Vladimir Petković has given Mvogo a place in the EK selection, but this is at the expense of Gregor Kobel. The goalkeeper signed a five-year contract with Borussia Dortmund on Monday. The selection of Switzerland has 26 names, including Yann Sommer, Manuel Akanji and former PSV‘er Ricardo Rodríguez. Switzerland plays against Wales, Italy and Turkey in the group phase of the European Championships.
Mvogo can end the season positively. The goalkeeper was rented by PSV for two seasons from RB Leipzig, but did not leave an indelible impression in Eindhoven. However, it seems that Mvogo will also be playing in Eindhoven next season. He must compete with Joël Drommel.
