‘Ajax and Torino reach agree’

Perr Schuurs is going to exchange Ajax for Torino, reports De Cceit on Saturday evening. Both clubs have reached an agreement on the transition of the centre-back.
On Sunday, the paperwork has to be done in order. That means that the transfer is permanently sealed, it sounds. In Turin, a contract is ready for Schuurs until the summer of 2026. Torino pays Ajax 9.5 million euros fixed and 3.5 million euros in bonuses. In addition, Ajax stipulates fifteen percent of the profit on a subsequent transfer.
Ajax makes a big profit at Schuurs, which came across from Fortuna Sittard for a maximum of three million euros in 2018. In Amsterdam, Schuurs had to tolerate Jurriรซn Timber, Daley Blind and recently Calvin Bassey in front of him, giving him little perspective on playing time. Alfred Schreuder did not want to let Schuurs go and saw in him Timber‘s ideal stand-in.
De Cceit reports that Schuurs’
s successor is already ‘in the starting blocks’. Nineteen-year-old Ahmetcan Kaplan reportedly has an oral agreement with Ajax on a five-season contract. The Turkish defender of Trabzonspor is also in the interest of Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain, but would see an ideal stepping stone to the top in Ajax. It is reportedly waiting for Ajax and Trabzonspor to reach an agreement on the transfer fee.
