The game is on the car: Ajax is willing to sit down with Manchester United regarding Lisandro Martínez. The people of Amsterdam are willing to participate in a transfer from the Argentine, report De Cceit and Voetbal International.
Martínez has made it clear to the club management of Ajax to leave for the Premier League and Ajax seems to meet that wish. The reigning national champion has one hard demand: the club demands an amount of between 55 and sixty million euros. Martínez was initially not allowed to leave under any circumstances, but Ajax contributes because of Martínezs wishes.
The left defender is still stuck in Amsterdam until mid-2025, so Ajax asks for the top prize. United previously offered 45 million euros, plus five million euros in bonuses. This was not enough for Ajax, but there may still be an opening in the negotiations. It is not clear whether The Mancunians want to go up to 55 million euros.
When Martínez does move to Old Trafford, the former Eredivisie content becomes significant. Manager Erik ten Hag already got Tyrell Malacia and also wants Christian Eriksen and Frenkie de Jong. In addition, Donny van de Beek is already active at United.

Ajax does not want to let Lisandro Martinez go (for the time being), but it does sit around the table with Manchester United. Amsterdammers demand at least 55-60 million euros for the Argentine defender, who is still fixed until mid-2025. #Ajax
