Ajax looks at Anderlecht excellence with past at Barça and Dortmund

Anderlecht – standout Sergio Gómez was watched by Ajax last weekend, so Football Primeur knows. The 21-year-old Spanish left-back is on the radar at many more clubs.
Ajax saw him working on Saturday during Anderlechts away game against Charleroi. The newspapers Le Soir and The Sun also show the names of AZ, Saint-Étienne, Schalke 04, Everton, Manchester United, Hellas Verona, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Zulte Waregem, Villarreal, Rennes, Hamburger SV, Borussia Dortmund, Southampton, Lille, Internazionale, Rangers FC, KAA Gent, Bayer Leverkusen, Deportivo Alavés, Atalanta Bergamo, AS Monaco and Genoa fall.
The clubs in attendance saw the left-back play a leading role with two hits, including one penalty kick used. Gómez played in the youth of FC Barcelona, but he left for Borussia Dortmund in 2018. Last summer, Anderlecht reportedly paid 2.25 million euros to take him over from the German top club. He signed a contract in Brussels until mid-2025.
The attacking fullback has embarked on his Belgian adventure excellently. In sixteen performances in the Jupiler Pro League, he accounted for five goals and seven assists. Gómez came out for various national youth teams of Spain.
