Ajax O18 played a big game against Feyenoord in the mini-Classic on Saturday. Coach John Heitinga’s team won 2-6 in Rotterdam.
Ajax had little to fear from Feyenoord’s peers at Varkenoord. Jaymillio Pinas opened the score from a corner after just two minutes, after which Christian Rasmussen and Kristian Hlynsson made it 0-3 within fifteen minutes. Although Shiloh ‘t Zand did something back with a used penalty kick, the margin was still three halfway through: Rio Hillen signed for the 1-4.
Ajax did not give the Feyenoord talents a moment’s rest in the first half, and the Amsterdammers were the upper side in the second half as well. Pinas made his second before Ilyas el Moussaoui scored for the home side. The final chord, however, was for Ajax defender Olivier Aertssen, who set the final score at 2-6.
