‘Ajax wants Ihattaren to be assisted by a sports psychologist’

Ajax wants Mohamed Ihattaren to be guided by a sports psychologist. Club watcher Mike Verweij says this in De Cceits football podcast. It is not yet clear how the twenty-year-old playmaker faces that request.
Ihattaren has now resumed individual training at Ajax. According to the official lecture, he was โ€œnot fitโ€ in recent weeks, but De Cceit wrote, among others, that he suffered from threats in the private sphere, coming from the criminal corner. This week, the people of Amsterdam announced that they would talk to Ihattaren to discuss a follow-up process.
โ€œHe trains individually and next week there will be talk about a different trajectory,โ€ Verweij responds. โ€œAjax really wants him to be assisted in another area, with a sports psychologist. He has to go along with that. I wonder if he does.โ€
Remarkably, the attacking midfielder did not get a bib number at Ajax yet. โ€œI think it
s a very strange decision. I think it might be a sign: boy, go do your best and focus entirely on football. Then you will get that number automatically. But you can also support such a boy: heres your bib number and go for it full.โ€
