Algemeen Dagblad: AZ scout possible successor Bizot in Denmark

AZ may get Marco Bizot‘s successor from Denmark. Peter Vindahl-Jensen, Goalkeeper of FC Nordsjaelland is on the Alkmaar list.
Vindahl-Jensen can ‘
sometimes‘ become AZ’s new goalkeeper, reports Algemeen Dagblad. The 23-year-old goalkeeper has been a fixed value at the Danish club FC Nordsjaelland since 2019. This season he played three games from start to finish.
This week AZ said goodbye to Marco Bizot, who opted for a multi-year contract with Stade Brest. The French club reportedly made five million euros to Alkmaar. On Sunday, Hobie Verhulst defends the AZ goal in the practice match against Torino.
Bizot came to AZ in 2017 – after periods with Ajax, SC Cambuur, FC Groningen and KRC Genk – transfer free to AZ. He took 164 games and accounted for 72 clean sheets. This summer he went to the European Championships as the third Orange goalkeeper. Vindahl-Jensen did not play international for Denmark yet.
