Another setback for Vitesse: defender also tests positive for coronavirus

Vitesse will not have Jacob Rasmussen at his disposal in the match against Sparta. Besides the eight staff members of the Arnhemmers who became infected with the coronavirus, the 23-year-old Dane also tested positive. Rasmussen is already in quarantine and misses the encounter with Sparta in the Gelredome. The defender, who is being hired from Fiorentina this season, had no contact with his fellow players as of Wednesday and skipped practice sessions on Thursday and Friday. The other staff members and selection players have been tested negative.
At Vitesse there are now nine cases of corona. Trainer Thomas Letsch is also infected, as are assistants Joseph Oosting and Jan Fiesser. Never before has a Dutch professional club been hit so hard in one go. Nevertheless, the duel with Sparta continues.

He also skipped the Thursday and Friday practice sessions. The other staff members, players and those directly involved have been tested negative (2/2) #Vitesse
