‘AS Monaco captures Boadu competitor for twelve million euros’

Transfer news from France: Myron Boadu gets a competitor: AS Monaco is about to join forces with Breel Embolo. The striker comes over from Borussia Mönchengladbach.
German and French media report this. Embolo (25) played for FC Basel for two years, three years for Schalke 04 and for the past three years he played for Gladbach. According to BILD, that club collects around twelve million euros.
Putting on Embolo could be bad news for Boadu. The striker made the switch from AZ to Monaco last year, but has not been able to make a structural impression in France. Boadu scored four times in 31 games and also gave one assist. His contract continues until the summer of 2026, and French media have told the story that Monaco is willing to rent out Boadu.
