‘Au revoir’: AZ confirms, youth exponent Stengs will make top transfer

AZ swung out Calvin Stengs. The left-legged attacker leaves directly to the French OGC Nice.
The Alkmaarders do not make a ruling on the transfer fee, which is reportedly 15 million euros. Stengs closes an important part of his life with the transfer to the Cรดte dAzur. After joining AZ as a pupil, he made his official debut in the first team at the beginning of 2017. Stengs did not get a nasty knee injury much later in a match against PSV, but straightened his back and leaves AZ now with 113 official matches on the counter.
โ€œThis transfer is not only a compliment for Calvin himself, but also for the entire club and especially the AZ Youth Academy,โ€ says Football Business Director Max Huiberts through the AZ channels. โ€œHe entered AZ as a young boy and leaves as an example pro and multiple international. We wish Calvin a lot of success in his further career.โ€
Stengs responded to his transfer from the south of France. โ€œWith pain in my heart, I
m going to leave AZ. I played for the club for twelve years and four years before AZs first. I want to thank you for this great time,โ€ he addressed the fans. The left leg is going to meet buddy Myron Boadu next year. The rush hour is on its way to AS Monaco.
