AZ talent accelerates due to absence Karlsson: “It certainly motivates me”

Myron van Brederode is motivated by the absence of Jesper Karlsson. The nineteen-year-old left winger gets this preparation a chance because Karlsson is struggling with a muscle injury for the time being.
Van Brederode was allowed to start last Sunday as a left winger in the practice game with Bologna (1-0 win) and impressed. It was definitely a nice game, the young striker told AZ Fanpage after the game ended.
Normally, Karlsson is AZs fixed left winger. However, the Swede, who is interested in Napoli and OGC Nice, among others, and also indicated that he is open to something new, is injured. For the time being, that works out well for Van Brederode. It certainly motivates me to get closer. That is also a goal for this season. As long as Jesper is there, of course, he is the first choice and I will have to wait for my chance.
Last season, the Dutch youth international mainly made his minutes in the Kitchen Champion Division at Jong AZ and in the O18. In total, Van Brederode managed to score seven times in 33 games. He also gave ten assists. For his debut in the Eredivisie, he still has to wait at least until August 7. Then the Alkmaarders take on Go Ahead Eagles in their own house.
