‘Back on the old nest after one year: Chelsea agreement on letting Lukaku’

Chelsea has reached agreement with Internazional on Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian is rented for one season to the club he left for Stamford Bridge last summer. Thats what The Athletic reports.
Lukaku barely got out of the picture at Chelsea and therefore submitted a request to leave. Because Chelsea has invested heavily in him and Inter barely has any money to spend, both clubs have agreed on a rental period. Inter
s first bid worth five million euros excluding bonuses was rejected, but now there is still a deal: Londoners get eight million euros exclusively for him.
The medical exam is scheduled for next week, according to The Athletic. Lukaku wanted nothing more than to return to Inter. Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel does not have an important role in his team for him.
