Barça has a tough evening in San Moix, but gets three points

FC Barcelona beat RCD Mallorca 0-1 in San Moix on Saturday evening. It was a tough game for the Catalans, who were brilliantly led in the twentieth minute by star player Robert Lewandowski. Neither Frenkie de Jong nor Memphis Depay were present. They suffered an injury during the international period.
Barcelona started the game relatively strongly and gave a lot of pressure forward, but that weakened after Lewandowski‘s goal. The Pool was operated by Ansu Fati, carried out a useful hijacking action and then managed to hit the long corner. Fifteen minutes after the opening goal, Mallorca was close to equalising via Jaume Costa, but Ter Stegen continued its good shape over the past few weeks and managed to save well.
Barça did go to halftime with a 0-1 lead, but it was far from good. The team was able to create few real opportunities. In the second half, little changed in that game image. In the final phase of the match, Mallorca embarked on an offensive and as a result, Xavi’
s men looked restless. In the end, an equaliser remained out, so Barcelona takes the lead in La Liga for at least a while. Real Madrid takes action on Sunday evening and takes on Osasuna at home.
Barça took off a jacket during the international period. Jules Koundé, Memphis Depay, Frenkie de Jong, Ronald Araújo and Hector Bellerín were all injured. On Tuesday, a visit to Internazionale, which lost to AS Roma on Saturday, is scheduled.
