Barcelona elects President on 24 January

Judo: Tessa Brouwer first female president bond

23.50 p.m.: Tessa Brouwer was elected chairman of the Judo Bond Nederland (JBN) Monday evening. Shes the first woman to perform this function. The general meeting also proclaimed Hendrik Koppe as the new director of top sport. The management of the organisation is therefore complete again after the necessary struggles of the past few months.

Brouwer is a judge in daily life and a practitioner of the Japanese discipline aikido. To help develop this sport, she was a member of the national aikido committee from 1998 to 2010, of which the last five years as chairman. Since 2011, Brouwer has been a member of the Appeal Board of the JBN. The League rewarded her in 2016 as a Member of Merit with the golden sign of honor.

Football: Election of President Barcelona on 24 January

18.24 hours: The Japanese skating team will not come to Heerenveen early next year for the World Cup distances and two World Cup races. The countrys Skating Association questions the safety of the event and stresses that participants cannot obtain points for participation in the Olympic Games.

Volleyball: European Volleyball Qualification again moved

16.59 p.m.: The second round of the European Championship qualification that Dutch volleyball players would finish from 15 to 17 January 2021 in Topsportcentrum Rotterdam has been postponed. The duels with Sweden and Croatia cannot take place because of the applicable corona measures.

It is the second time that the EK qualification is postponed due to corona. Originally, the matches were to be played in August and September this year with off and home matches. Now follows a second postponement to probably May. Volleyball Association Nevobo is still in negotiation. Playing dates and location are not yet known.

The volleyball players do not have to go to Croatia for the first tricamp from 8 to 10 January. These competitions will also be moved to a date to be determined.

The DutchMen must be placed in group A for the European Championship, which will be played in four host countries in 2021: Poland, the Czech Republic, Estonia and Finland. The numbers 1 of the seven poules and the five best numbers 2 are placed for the final round.

Football: Thomas Lam five duels suspended, of which 1 is conditional

Football: Bayern Munich without Neuer, Lewandowski and Goretzka to Madrid

: British driver Callum Ilott will not be present in Formula One next year. 22-year-old Ilott is the number 2 of Formula 2, behind leader Mick Schumacher.

Its time to announce that Ive been told I wont race in the F1 in 2021, wrote Ilott on Twittter. Im disappointed, but Ill work even harder to make it happen in 2022.

Like Schumacher, Ilott was linked to Haas, who after this season says goodbye to Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen. Schumacher is part of the training of Ferrari and that car brand delivers the engines to Haas. It would be an honor to greet Mick in our team, Haas team boss Günther Steiner recently dropped off.

Motorsport: TT Circuit in Assen opens Season Superbike

14.15 pm: The TT Circuit in Assen will open the new season in the Superbike World Championship next year. The races are on the provisional calendar that the organization released on 24 and 25 April.

The championship has 13 weekend breaks, mainly with races in Europe. In the autumn, races are scheduled in Argentina, Indonesia and Australia. Place and date of the final race are not yet known.

Hockey: Annan until World Cup 2022 national coach of hockey players

14.14 hrs: Alyson Annan is the national coach of the Dutch hockey players until the World Cup of 2022. Annans expiration contract was previously extended until the deferred Olympic Games of 2021, but an additional year is now being added to the agreement.

Football: Three Dutch arbitrators active in Champions League

Football: Manchester United possible without goalkeeper The Gea against PSG
