Ronald Koeman has climbed to the second place in La Liga with Barcelona. The Catalans looked at Betis against a 1-0 backlog, but after Lionel Messi took the case straight and finally won 2-3.
Earlier this weekend competitors had Real Madrid (just like Barcelona 43 points but a slightly less goal balance), and Seville (42 points) also won, so the formation of Koeman could not remain behind. The backlog on top runner Atletico Madrid is still seven points, while the Madrians also have two duels.
Via Borja Iglesias, Betis took the lead in the first half. After rest, Messi stood in the field for barely two minutes, after which he entered the 1-1 at Ousmane Dembélé. A curious goal of Victor Ruiz brought Barça to the lead, but the unfortunate defender revened himself by kicking in the 2-2.
However, the last word was to the young Barcelona attacker Trincao, who became a match winner with a beautiful distance shot from the bottom of the bar. Frenkie de Jong played at Barcelona for the full ninety minutes.
