Bayern wins convincingly

Bayern Munich won 4-0 against Bayer Leverkusen in-house on Friday night. Trainer Julian Nagelsmann, who had a base place left for Matthijs de Ligt, is thus putting an end to the shape dip for the time being.

The struggling city of Bayern lay under a magnifying glass on Friday night. Der Rekordmeister last won a competition game on August 21. With De Ligt in its base, there was little to see of a possible form crisis. After just three minutes of play, Leroy Sané opened the score. Leverkusen, which finds itself in place 16 after Friday, had little or nothing to crumble in the milk. It was therefore only a matter of time before Bayern struck again. It did so in the 17th minute through the talent Jamal Musiala. Even before the break, Bayern delivered the final blow via Sadio Mané.
The second half took place at a quieter pace. Leverkusen, where Dutchman Jeremie Frimpong was based, tried to limit the damage. This worked for a long time, until Thomas Müller took care of the 4-0 in the 84th minute. De Ligt played the full ninety minutes. Due to the victory, Bayern climbs to second place for the time being. Competitors Borussia Dortmund, SC Freiburg, Hoffenheim and Borussia Mönchengladbach will take action later this weekend.
