Phillip Cocu doesn‘t immediately say ‘no‘ to a Premier League club. He is open to anything that comes his way, indicates the clubbless trainer to Rondo at Ziggo Sport.
Cocu has been without a club for nearly a year after his discharge from Derby County last November. Since then it has been quiet around his person. It’s starting to tickle again now. “I am absolutely open to the Premier League too. If you have the drive and hunger again, you have to go one hundred percent for it. You can‘t do it on half power in this course,” says Cocu.
“That feeling is back and then you look at the options that pass by. A subtopper? I wouldn’t say no beforehand. Although that is due to the situation, the objectives, the possibilities and whether I see it, yes or no,” says Cocu.
