Chelsea has placed an offer at Internazionale for Romelu Lukaku. The Blues would have offered a transfer sum of 100 million euros and left back Marcos Alonso according to transfer experts Fabrizio Romano and Gianluca Di Marzio. However, Inter does not agree to that.
Inter wants to do everything to keep Lukaku. The Belgian striker itself would not have been upset by the Chelsea offer refused. However, it is not unthinkable that the Champions League winner will return to Milan later with an improved offer.
Di Marzio expects Lukaku‘s will to be decisive in that case. If the 28-year-old striker chooses a return to the Premier League, that probably makes Inter stagger. However, Lukaku would not have sent any signals that he wants to leave for Chelsea.
Last season, the 98-fold international with 24 league goals had a significant share in the country title of Inter. In Serie A, he also accounted for ten assists. At the European Championships, Lukaku also made a good impression: at the European final tournament, he scored four times in five games.
Inter have received an approach from Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku. Bid around €100m including Marcos Alonso as part of the negotiation. 🔵 #CFCInter board turned down the proposal as they want to keep Lukaku – they’ve always considered Romelu as “untouchable”. @DiMarzio 🇧🇪 #Inter
