Big action against hate comments started

Common comments about appearance, culture or gay people. Many young people see it online, but don’t know what they can do about it. That’s why a campaign was launched today.

The action is called #datmeenmeenjeniet. The inventors call on everyone to use that hashtag when they read hate comments. This way they hope that it will become more normal to say something of hurtful remarks online. And that the people who make the comment will start thinking about their words.
