Big Five countries lottery tickets to starting place in final

The songfestival artists from the Big Five countries know in which part of the final they should perform since Saturday. After their second rehearsal, Ahoy was drawn to Rotterdam.

Italy, Germany and France ran the second half of the final, and Britain and Spain then pulled the box of the first half. The Netherlands also rehearsed on Saturday as a host country for the second time but did not have to lottery tickets. As since January last year, Jeangu Macrooy knows that next Saturday he will be the 23rd turn.

The other countries are lottery in the first or second half after which the production is determined a starting order. The aim is to achieve as diverse a sequence as possible in order to avoid, for example, three ballads sitting in a row.

The Big Five countries, like the host country, are already automatically placed for the final because they pay more.
