Bijlow did not talk to De Boer: ‘Then we shaken hands, not further’

Justin Bijlow is not currently working on a possible spot at the Dutch team, after the bad news for Jasper Cillessen Tuesday. Marco Bizot is the replacement of the Valencia keeper in the EK selection of Orange.
โ€œIm working on Jong Orange now. That has been the case since Im fit and play againโ€, says the Feyenoord-keeper in conversation with the Algemeen Dagblad. Bijlow completed the 90 minutes last Monday during the 2-1 victory of Jong Oranje over Jong France. Should one of the three Orange goalkeepers fall away with an injury, Bijlow has a good chance to go to the big European Championships.
โ€œI dont think about that at all. If it is, then with all love of courseโ€, continues Bijlow, who has not yet spoken to national coach Frank de Boer. โ€œDe Boer was a training day at Feyenoord to see. Then we shaken hands, not further.โ€
Bijlow is ambitious and hopes to become the first goalkeeper of Orange in the future. A lot of people think he
s gonna do this. โ€œIts nice that people say that. I have to show it. If I keep performing well, I hope Ill be there soon. Everyone wants the highest possible, thats the great Orangeโ€, he concludes.
