Khalid Boulahrouz doesnt mind Ajax, which looks at a 2-0 backlog against SSC Napoli at rest. Daley Blind and Calvin Bassey, in particular, are not spared.
Right at the kick-off, Boulahrouz already saw a big difference between Napoli and Ajax. The Italians were on the center line with seven men to seek the attack after the first whistle. “A statement to Ajax: we are going to play full on the attack. When you do this, its quite intimidating for Ajax,” says Boulahrouz at Ziggo Sport.
Here we go again… 🤕 The game is less than 5 minutes and Ajax is already falling behind 😬 It is of all former PSVer Lozano who scores the goal for the Naples team ⚽️ #ZiggoSport #UCL #NAPAJA pic.twitter.com/7R3WixAu6i

After sixteen minutes, Napoli was already 2-0 ahead. “This is a worst-case scenario,” concludes the former Dutch international, who analyses Lozanos opening goal. “Bassey stops and leaves the inside free. We know hes not the best at turning and turning… Six people are watching football, only popcorn is missing. There is no communication between Blind and Bassey. You see Blind watching the ball, no one has an eye for the walking man.”
Boulahrouz insists that Napoli, just like a week earlier, is incredibly good. The former defender particularly highlights Khvicha Kvaratschelia, who is giving Jorge Sánchez a difficult evening. “He invites Sánchez to the dance: I lead the dance and I decide what were going to do,” Boulahrouz refers to the Georgians individual actions.
