Daley Blind resumed training at his club Ajax. The 30-year-old international went to ground two weeks ago during a practice game with Hertha BSC without an opponent nearby.
Afterwards it became known that his defibrillator had gone off and that he was further examined. The results of the tests gave no reason to keep Blind on the sidelines any longer. Blind had to unsubscribe from the Dutch national team and missed the international matches against Poland (1-0) and Italy (0-1).
During the Champions League game against Valencia at the end of last year, Blind also went to ground. The National Team was suffering from an inflammation of a heart muscle. He’s been playing with a defibrillator ever since.
Ajax will start the league next Sunday with the away game against Sparta.
