In the Battle. net launcher, some players noticed a pop-up ad inviting them to return to battle with the Burning Legion. It featured the release date of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic — June 1.
At the same time, the official announcement has not been sounded yet. Ads with the release date of the update quickly disappeared: most likely, they were activated ahead of schedule.
And this is not the first time that Blizzard itself gives out its secrets. In particular, BlizzConline press kits appeared at the addressees before the opening of the event.
Some players also received congratulations on unlocking Daisy even before the pet was available in the store. It is not known exactly what is scheduled for June 1: direct update or a preview patch that opens access to some of the new content.
There is also a possibility that Blizzard will change its plans at the last minute. No official comments about the leak have yet been received.
