Blue screen of death in Windows 11 is repainted black

Microsoft decided to repaint the so-called Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) black — this will happen on Windows 11. The critical system failure has already been hit by testers of the freshest build. According to The Verge, the decision to change colors has already been made, and is reasoned by a desire to maintain a common style with animations on and off the operating system.

The last time the BSoD screen changed seriously in 2016, when QR codes began to appear on the screen to make it easier to find bugs. As recently as 4 years before, Windows 8 added a sad smiley.
