Othman Boussaid delivered FC Utrecht three points against Sparta with a Sunday shot. In the match that seemed to be heading for a bloodless draw, the understudy blasted the ball into the top corner a few minutes before time: 1-0.
FC Utrecht rises as a result of the second win in a row to the eighth place in the top division, but the Domstad dwellers are very lucky with the way in which they are.
The team of René Hake seemed to have lost his chances of a good result in the first half; a marker of Bart Ramselaar failed, a free-standing Gyrano Church could not control the ball and Joris van Overeem failed hopelessly.
By the minute duller
Trainer Henk Fraser put Sparta a lot better after that restless opening phase, after which Utrecht seemed to get through it.

After rest, the game became more boring by the minute and Sparta seemed to easily turn off the Utrecht attack on the virtual eighth place with a tie. When a goal seemed no longer to be in it, Boussaid cut free and even the strong-keeping Maduka Okoye was too powerful.
“ I hit him very well”, Boussaid sparkled after his masterpiece. “When I took the ball on my left foot, I had a feeling: it goes in anyway.”
