Brobbey disappointed with exchange policy: ‘Should have come in much earlier’

Brian Brobbey believes he should have entered the field earlier in Wednesday night‘s game against Napoli. The striker was inserted in the 65th minute by Alfred Schreuder, but the striker himself found that late.
โ€œOf course, I’
ve been sitting on the couch a lot in the last few weeks,โ€ Brobbey talks about his role at Ajax versus RTL. โ€œBut I thought I should have filled in this game much earlier. I think I should have already entered the 2-1.โ€ Eventually, Brobbey entered the field for a disappointing Mohamed Kudus. The Ghanaian was unable to make a fist and was therefore pulled to the side. โ€œHe did very well over the past few weeks and if he keeps scoring, I can‘t change that,โ€ says Brobbey about the competition with Kudus.
After his raid, Brobbey was able to force another penalty in the final phase. This was used by Steven Bergwijn. In any case, the penalty was a fair one Brobbey found. โ€œWe were both holding each other, but I felt him pull me to the ground. Then, in my opinion, it is a fair penalty. But above all, we have to keep doing our thing and stay strong as a team. We’
ll have another game on Sunday.โ€
