Brobbey hard on Ajax shutdown: ‘Were the whole game the better team’

Brian Brobbey believes that Ajax is responsible for the dismantling in the Europa League. The nineteen-year-old striker believes that the Amsterdammers, divided into two races, simply missed too many opportunities.
The formation of trainer Erik ten Hag came no further than a 1-1 draw Thursday night in Rome after the 1-2 home defeat in the Johan Cruijff Arena last week. Brobbey speaks of a frustrating evening. โ€œCertainly, that‘s rightโ€, begins the strong striker for RTL’s camera. โ€œWe were the better team throughout the game, we created many opportunities, but unfortunately we didn‘t finish them.โ€
The atmosphere in the dressing room was therefore sub-optimal. โ€œDisappointed, but we’
re going to Sunday. Then the next game awaits, the cup finals.โ€ The fact that Brobbey had to show his value again as a substitute did not surprise the attacker himself. โ€œI just got back from an injury, so I understand. When I get in, I just give everything, that‘s just my job and then I’m just trying to get a little bit of it.โ€
The creator of the 0-1 in Rome thinks that Ajax has failed himself against Roma. โ€œWe played both games better, but we missed so many chances… Very annoying this, yes.โ€
