‘Bruce speaks press for clash with Spurs despite Newcastle speculations’

Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce will ‘just’ speak to the press Friday ahead of the game with Tottenham Hotspur. It‘s pretty sure that the sixty-year-old Englishman is going to be fired, but that’s still not official.
On Thursday Newcastle confirmed Bruce will just have his weekly press talk, reports Sky Sports. The press conference will take place a few hours later than usual. Sky also argues that Newcastle gave very late clarity about continuing the press moment.
Right after the Saudi takeover of Newcastle, the rumor mill about Bruce started. In the meantime, it is clear that he has to clear the field almost certainly. Newcastle already ventured an attempt to bring in Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers. However, The Magpies ran a blue.
So it looks like Bruce is still on the bench at Newcastle against Tottenham. That would be his thousandth match as manager. The game with The Spurs will be on the roll for Sunday at 5:30pm.
