In six regions in the west of the country, late pub visits are discouraged. At midnight, the lights go on and the music goes out and visitors are no longer allowed in. An hour later, the place has to be empty. Sources in The Hague report to the CCeit that in this way the cabinet wants to counter the increasing number of corona infections.
This evening, there has been consultation between the Cabinet and the chairmen of six security regions where the figures are too high. Tomorrow, the measures will be worked out in more detail. Tomorrow evening, the new rules will be explained at a press conference.
