Call of Duty: Warzone wont change engine after integration with Black Ops Cold War

One of Activision‘s creative executives, known on the ReSetera forum under the nickname ShutterMunster, confirmed that Call of Duty: Warzone will not change the engine after integration with Black Ops Cold War. This means, that the battle royale will continue to exist on the Infinity Ward engine that was used in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, while the Black Ops Cold War multiplayer will run on the engineTreyarch. Previously, Activision announced that the integration of Call of Duty: Warzone with Black Ops Cold War would take place in December at the same time as the start of the shooter’s first season.
