‘Cambuur does business with Groningen and hires wing attacker for six months’

Patrick Joosten will play Cambuur on a rental basis for the rest of this season. The Leeuwarder Courant reports that on Monday evening. With the arrival of Joosten, the Frisians want to respond to the absence of two players.
Issa Kallon and David Sambissa will be playing at the Africa Cup in the coming weeks and so reinforcement was needed on the left. Joosten has to fill that gap, as can be read in the regional daily. The 25-year-old attacker will be rented from FC Groningen. There is no purchase option included in the deal, so after this season Joosten will simply return to Groningen.
At the Pride of the North, the attacker from Nijmegen had little chance of playing time this season. He had to give priority to players like Mo el Hankouri and Tomas Suslov and trainer Danny Buijs didnt let Joosten fill in often either. At Cambuur, he will be able to show his value in the first few games at least.
