Chelsea discusses double deal with City: Aké cheaper alternative to De Ligt

Chelsea is hoping for Manchester City duo Raheem Sterling-Nathan Aké and has started talks with The Citizens, reports The Telegraph. Aké should become the cheaper alternative for compatriot Matthijs de Ligt.
Both players are not undisputed base customers at Manchester City and were previously linked to Chelsea. According to The Telegraph, a few steps have now been taken: Chelsea has opened talks with the competitor, and both Sterling and Aké are open to leave for Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea also thought of De Ligt, but the Juventus defender must cost at least one hundred million euros. Now Aké — who already had part of his youth education at The Blues — and Sevilla defender Jules Koundé are emphatically in the picture to lead the renovated rear guard with Reece James. Chelsea is already losing two central defenders with Antonio Rüdiger (Real Madrid) and Andreas Christensen (not yet known), while César Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso are also thinking of leaving.
