‘Chelsea not a favourite for Raphinha, but at ringside for Dutch duo’

Chelsea FC is no longer the dead dyed candidate to take over Raphinha from Leeds United. The player seems to prefer to leave for FC Barcelona. The London club top club is in advanced conversations with Matthijs de Ligt, Nathan Aké and Raheem Sterling.
This is reported by the Evening Standard. Chelsea had a much higher amount of money waiting for Raphinha, but the Brazilian would rather see himself leaving for FC Barcelona, which cant offer the same financial picture as The Blues. Chelsea is still in the running for De Ligt, Aké and Sterling.
There seems to be major changes coming at Stamford Bridge. After the sale of the club by Roman Abramovich, the new owner, Todd Boehly, wants to make big hits in the transfer market. Hakim Ziyech is open for a departure to AC Milan and that money can be used to attract De Ligt and Aké. De Ligt left Ajax in 2019 and arrived at Juventus for over 80 million euros. However, the future of De Ligt is still uncertain after disappointing results at Juventus. Coming fourth in a row is not good enough, hinted De Ligt, which is set in Turin until 2024.
Aké is detained at City until 2025 and transferred from Bournemouth AFC in 2020. At the time, 45 million euros were paid for the defender, but the Dutchman is not a regular base force at The Citizens. Aké came into action 27 times last season, of which only fourteen times in the Premier League.

Chelsea are no longer favourites to sign Raphinha with Barcelona now trying to finalise a deal with Leeds. In the meantime, Chelsea have been advancing talks for Raheem Sterling, Nathan Ake and Matthijs de Ligt. #CFC
