Chelsea owner hits Jorge Mendes in Portugal and discusses Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldos sporting future is a topic of discussion in England, after his disappointing return at Manchester United. According to The Athletic, his agent Jorge Mendes had a conversation with brand-new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly.
The two have agreed in Portugal and a possible transfer from Ronaldo to Chelsea is one of the topics that have passed the review. The 37-year-old Portuguese is under contract with Manchester United for one more year. Whether Chelsea wants to push through after the interview with Mendes will still be revealed, states The Athletic.
Ronaldo returned to Manchester United last summer after twelve seasons, where he played between 2003 and 2009. He himself scored eighteen hits in thirty league matches, but Manchester United performed disappointingly and missed out on the Champions League. Meanwhile, it is waiting for the first reinforcement for the new season, apart from manager Erik ten Hag.
