City continues after Haaland arrival: ‘We are still going to attract players’

Manchester City‘s buying urge has not disappeared after bringing in Erling Haaland and Julian รlvarez. The reigning English national champion has even more plans in the transfer market, reveals chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak.
Haaland was recently acquired from Borussia Dortmund, while รlvarez has been owned by City since January. The Argentine was stored for six months at River Plate, but it is expected to join Pep Guardiola’
s squad in preparation for the new season. The striker position has been filled in, but: โ€œI can confirm that we are going to attract even more players this summer,โ€ says Al Mubarak on the club channels.
The chairman did not want to reveal who City has on the wish list. โ€œWe want to strengthen the team in the positions where reinforcement is needed. We want to improve and strengthen. With รlvarez and Haaland, we already have two nice additions to the selection. I expect a few more to be added.โ€
Brighton & Hove Albion back Marc Cucurella is reportedly on the radar at City. The 23-year-old Spaniard should cost around forty million euros.
