Club Brugge cashes with sale De Ketelaere: ‘Can only be proud’

Charles De Ketelaere has caught his top transfer to AC Milan. The attacker leaves Club Brugge and becomes the third Red Devil in the Milanese squad. He signed a contract until mid-2027.
After Divock Origi and Alexis Saelemaekers, De Ketelaere is now also moving to Milan. The top transfer had been in the air for a while, but the deal has now been announced. Milan reportedly pays 35 million euros for De Ketelaere. Leeds United, among others, had millions left for De Ketelaere, but he already had his eyes on Milan, the champion of Italy.
“Of course, I am very happy with this next step. As a young player, you have the ambition to be able to play at the top abroad as well. I want to thank everyone at Club for all the opportunities I got there and it will always be my home,” says De Ketelaere on the Club Brugge club site.
“As a Club, we can only be proud that a youth product is leaving for the Italian national champion,” says technical director Vincent Mannaert. “Weve seen and helped Charles grow into the player he is today and wish him every success in his new adventure.”
