The Dutch tinted Club Brugge confirmed a lucrative outgoing transfer on Thursday evening. Ruud Vormer, Noa Lang, Bas Dost and Stefano Denswil wave outside player Krépin Diatta: 21-year-old Senegalese transferred to AS Monaco for twenty million euros.
The 21-year-old outdoor player played 85 minutes in the home game against KV Oostende on Wednesday, but left one day later: Blauw-Zwart reports this via his official channels. Diattas transition was already in the pipeline for several days and was completed on Thursday. He has been the second most expensive outgoing transfer from Club Brugge since Thursday: only Brazilian Wesley (left for 25 million euros to Aston Villa in 2019) resulted in a higher transfer fee.
However, the Senegalese was picked from Sarpsborg for two million euros in January 2018. He quickly impressed in the Belgian competition and has been on the radar of foreign teams for a while now. Diatta was even linked to Ajax, but then Club managed to keep his goldcock. After twenty goals and eleven assists in 95 matches, the adventure at the Jan Breydel stadium is over.
Thank you Krépin! Our Senegalese flank attacker is moving to AS Monaco. We wish you all the best! Ðÿªðÿââââââ¿ Ðÿªðÿââââââ¿ #MerciKrépinðŸ https://t.co/q6frhCgkca pic.twitter.com/Ngeuk2J0ag
