‘Club child to renew at FC Barcelona: 35% less salary’

FC Barcelona and Sergi Roberto have agreed to extend his contract. This involves a substantial 35% reduction in salary.
That‘s what Catalan RAC1 reports. Roberto is the fourth Barcelona captain to agree to a salary cut. Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets already preceded him. It has everything to do with Barcelona’s financial situation, which is bad to name.
Roberto just gets his regular salary paid, but he turned in on bonuses. Many of the Barcelona players are paid out part of their income. Roberto will sign up until 2024, writes RAC1. His current union expires after this season. Barcelona is planned to officially bring out the contract extension next week.
Roberto moved into Barcelona in 2006 and has not been able to be seen from the base eleven since the 2015/2016 season.
