Soda producer Coca-Cola wants to bring the South African bottler Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) to the fair.
It is planned that the company will receive a listing in Amsterdam and Johannesburg within a year and a half.
CBBA is the largest African bottler of Coca-Cola. The company was founded in 2016 following the merger of the East and South African activities of Coca-Cola and SABMiller, in collaboration with investor Gutsche Family Investments (GFI).
Currently, the American The Coca-Cola Company owns two thirds of the shares and GFI the rest.
The South African company produces 40 percent of all Coca-Cola products in Africa. More than 16,000 people work.
A bottler of Coca-Cola has already been listed on the Amsterdam exchange. Thats the European bottler Coca-Cola European Partners.
