NEC has left two expensive points in the Kitchen Champion Division in a coldly manner to keep running at the top. The Nijmegenaren played in part thanks to their own goal at FC Den Bosch with 2-2 equal.
Jordy Bruijn excelled at NEC with two rake free kicks, but teammate Kevin Bukusu played a less fortunate match. He was the creator of his own goal, making Den Bosch a 2-1 head start.
Bukusu does not see that the target is empty
Bukusu thought to play the ball back to the goalkeeper, but the German had not seen that the goal was empty because Norbert Alblas offered to receive the ball right next to the goal.
Bukusu, who had a base place for the first time in six duels, did not go free at the 1-1 of Den Bosch either. He got in the wrong way, which allowed Ringo to score.
Hole with Camneighbor now nine points
Through the draw, the gap between NEC, which stands fifth, and leader SC Cambuur is now nine points. NAC Breda plays at home later on Sunday against FC Dordrecht.
