Coldplay will be on a world tour next year, but the Netherlands is not on the list of countries to be visited. With the Music of the Spheres tour, the British band will pass through Mexico, the United States, Germany, Poland, France, Belgium, England, the Dominican Republic and Brazil.
The tour starts in San Jose on March 18 and ends September 10 in Rio de Janeiro.
Band mates Chris Martin, Jon Buckland, Will Champion and Guy Berryman stress that they have kept the climate crisis in mind when planning the tour.
Thats why Coldplay enlisted a climate expert in planning the tour as responsibly as possible. The band does not explain exactly what that expert did. “We wont do everything right, but we do as much as we can and we want to share everything we learn about this,” the band writes on Twitter.
Coldplays new album, Music of the Spheres, will be released on October 15 th and is the successor to Everyday Life from 2019 and in 2016 the band was last on stage in the Netherlands, twice at the Johan Cruijff arena at the time.
