Coronaposters in Etten-Leur coated with anti-Semitic symbols

Several advertising posters of the campaign ‘Met each’ in Etten-Leur have been scrambled with anti-Semitic symbols such as Jew stars and slanes, reports BN DeStem.

The action ‘With each other’ was created at the beginning of the coronacrisis by three friends to reinforce the interconnectedness of their fellow townspeople. During the second wave, the wearing of mouthcaps is promoted on billboards. That action has now become the target of vandalism.

On Facebook, people write that they find the action โ€œsickโ€, โ€œdisgustingโ€ or โ€œterrible.โ€ Twan Robbeson, one of the initiators of ‘Met each’, says that the accused posters are replaced by new ones. He does not dare to say whether or not he is reported. โ€œThat chance is there. I am a supporter of freedom of expression, but this is vandalism.โ€
