José Mourinho responded to a number of injuries at Tottenham Hotspur on his Instagram page. It was announced on Monday that Matt Doherty had contracted the coronavirus from the national team of Ireland.
Mourinho is not a big fan of the many interland periods this season. In addition to the busy schedule at the club, the players also have to go regularly with the national team. The National Union of Ireland announced on Monday afternoon that Doherty and James McClean were tested positive after the match against Wales. In total, there were four Spurs players on the pitch at that duel.
Previously, the Spurs manager already received bad news from South Korea. Within the selection of the country, there has been a corona outbreak and three players have been infected. The entire selection is in quarantine, including Heung-min Son. The “bubble” at South Korea was allegedly not watertight. A runner could run undisturbed rounds around the field during training.
A fantistic football week, Mourinho starts on Instagram. Great emotions at the interlands, beautiful practice duels in total safety. Coronar results after matches, foreigners running on the field during training sessions and much more. After a new training with six players, now its time to work on myself, Mourinho is very cynical.
