De Jong explains Van Nistelrooys choice: Belve that road PSV yields a lot

John de Jong, director of football affairs at PSV, expects the club with Ruud van Nistelrooy to have the right trainer for the group in the coming seasons. De Jong states that the further interpretation of the technical staff will be announced in the coming months.
PSV made the Van Nistelrooy news official on Wednesday night. That Van Nistelrooy – the current trainer of Jong PSV – would become the successor to Roger Schmidt, has already become clear in recent days. Now the official confirmation is also there. “We are very happy that Ruud said yes. He enjoys the full confidence of the current PSV management and Marcel Brands”, De Jong responds to the news.
PSV looks confidently towards the future with Van Nistelrooy at the helm. “In recent years, Ruud has learned a lot inside and outside PSV, impressed as a leader of various teams and is ready to lead PSVs first team,” said De Jong. “We believe that the road we take with Ruud and the club this summer brings PSV a lot.”
At the first team, Van Nistelrooy will work with André Ooijer and Javier Rabanal (who is currently under contract with Willem II). “In the coming months, we will use it to determine the full implementation of the technical staff. With the player group, the current staff focuses entirely on winning prizes in this season,” concludes De Jong.
